Waller Family Farm is conveniently located between Durham and Chapel Hill, making it accessible to everyone throughout the Triangle Area. The farm provides a glimpse into hardworking farm life in the middle of a bustling metropolitan area. The farm has wildlife, animals, and rural character that gives the experience of being on a real, live working farm.
Strawberry picking at the farm usually begins in late April and runs through May and June. Beginning in the strawberry season, the farm also offers a variety of fresh vegetables such as cabbage and squash, sweet corn, cucumbers and sweet peppers, and fruits like tomatoes and watermelon. The farm prides itself on picking its crops daily to ensure freshness.
If you would like to visit for an afternoon of strawberry picking or to spend a day outside, Waller Family Farm is located at 5030 Kerley Road in Durham, North Carolina. Strawberry picking hours begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 7:00 p.m., and the farm is closed on Sundays.
