After a sell-out event in 2014, the Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival is back at the end of July for what is sure to be another hit weekend that everyone will love.
On July 31 and August 1 at Koka Booth Amphitheater, patrons can enjoy beer and bourbon tasting, live music, barbecue, and more. At the festival, you can expect a souvenir glass for as many beer or bourbon tastings as you would like (though please be responsible!) from the 40 bourbons and 60 beers on tap. There will also be a great barbecue selection from pulled pork to ribs, briskets, chicken, and even sausage. For those interested, there will even be seminars in the Tasting Theater with master distillers and brewmasters, and pit masters. On the main stage, enjoy live music and contests, and be sure to browse exhibits like Brewerania, BBQ accessories, and more. There will even bee a BBQ competition!
If it interests you, there is also a Whole Hog Pickin’ Session on Friday night, available for $59 in advance and $65 on-site on the day of the event. This VIP session offers a barbecue dinner with pulled pork and all the fixins! For Satruday, VIP tickets are priced at $59 in advance and $65 the day of the event. Regular session tickets are priced at $35 in advance and $45 on-site. For designated drivers, a $29 advance and on-site price will be charged. This includes admission only.
This event spans the course of two days: Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00p.m.. For the VIP session, the event begins Saturday at noon. While children ages 12 and under are free, the event is geared toward adults.
