Raleigh Beer Garden Brings Record to Triangle

dsc_0010-300x450Over the last few years, the Triangle area has seen a steady increase in craft beer
spots, bottle shops and breweries. However, the ultimate beer experience has opened its doors to aficionados and adults looking to expand their repertoires – right in the heard of the capital city of Raleigh.

The Raleigh Beer Garden, officially opened its doors to the public July 21. Located at 614 Glenwood Avenue, boasts the greatest number of taps in the world, all within one venue. There are an astounding 366 beers on draught from their own individual taps, which has allowed the Beer Garden to work on its own Guinness World Record. There are 144 that come from North Carolina breweries alone on the ground level of the venue, and 222 taps from beers around the country and around the world waiting on the next level up — that is, if you even make it that far! For those who enjoy a good dark beer, there are even Nitrous tanks for pouring stouts through a Nitro tap that enhances the flavor experience.

The three-story Beer Garden boasts indoor and outdoor spaces, a full menu, a rooftop deck and patio with a unique view of the beloved Downtown Raleigh skyline, bars and tables made of oak trees that stood on the bar’s site. In addition, Spiritual, a full cocktail bar makes its home within the Beer Garden.

The Raleigh Beer Garden is open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. seven days a week. For more information on the menu, draught list, and more, visit www.theraleighbeergarden.com, or find them on Facebook at Raleigh Beer Garden.
