In 2015, the Raleigh-Cary area will see a variety of acts, from music to productions to special events. However, one unique name stands out to us that we know will draw large audiences and many laughs.
Jim Gaffigan, a Grammy-nominated Comedian, Best-Selling author and producer will make a stop in Cary later this month at the Koka Booth Amphitheater.
Gaffigan is well-known for his specials on Comedy Central, his published book Dad is Fat, guest appearances on TV comedies such as Portlandia and Flight of the Concords, and Grammy-nominated tour records. In 2015, Gaffigan is producing and starring in his own Jim Gaffigan Show on TV Land and Comedy Central. To bring attention to this show, Gaffigan has taken to this national tour, calling it “Contagious.”
Contagious will come to Cary on Friday, August 14. Doors will open at the amphitheater at 7:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:00. Lawn tickets for the show cost $39.75, reserved seats and table seats cost $59.75. There is a ticket limit for parties of up to six.
Guests may bring lawn chairs, blankets, bottled water, purses and backpacks, and small cameras. Prohibited items include food and beverages, pets, tents, professional cameras and audio/video recorders.
