Come out and join us in Cary on Saturday, August 22 for the 39th annual Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival. This event is a favorite in the Triangle area, drawing large crowds, families and crafters alike.
The festival will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. This year, the festival will take place at the Cary Town Hall Campus, for which a map can be found here. The location is very close to the normal setting, and is moved due to construction on Academy Street.
Lazy Daze is best known as a host for local artists and craftsmen, but has so much more to offer to its patrons. In addition to showing dozens of galleries of work from talented artists across the area, Lazy Daze also highlights local cultural groups, a kids’ area with games and crafts, live entertainment at multiple stages, dozens of food trucks and food vendors, games, a sculpture exhibition, video project premiere, and last but not least a feature of the Town of Cary’s official Town Crier.
Guests may arrive early to secure one of the limited parking spaces, utilize the town’s local C-Tran shuttle, or special day shuttles from the Cary Towne Center or Green Hope High School. A full list of shuttle information may be found here.
Despite the different location this year, we are sure that Lazy Daze will continue to be a success. We hope to see you there! For more information on the day, please follow this link to the Town of Cary website.
