For our first feature review from Greg Cox’s The Menu, we wanted to highlight a different style of dining that is available in the Triangle. Rarely do we partake in fine French cuisine, but Cox writes beautifully about Coquette, a genuinely French brasserie located in North Hills in Raleigh. This year, Coquette was awarded the Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.
Coquette features a full menu for brunch, midday and dinner, as well as a full selection of desserts, exclusively French wines, beers and cocktails. For reserved parties, the restaurant also caters with an hors d’oeuvre menu or lunch selection. Chef Paul Gagne prepares sophisticated plates with a French flair, and his delicious, traditional brasserie creations are accompanied by house-made breads and desserts.
The restaurant is open for four different meal times: Brunch, mid-day, lunch and dinner. Brunch is offered on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., lunch Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., mid-day meals are offered from Monday through Sunday 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and dinners Monday through Thursday from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 11:00 p.m. and on Sunday until 9:00 p.m..
