Two Triangle establishments have landed on Southern Living’s list of the ” South’s Best Restaurants 2015.”

Death & Taxes, Raleigh restaurateur Ashley Christensen‘s latest venture, and Lantern, a popular Chapel Hill restaurant, made the magazine’s short list of 30 eateries “everyone needs to try stat.”    Just one other North Carolina restaurant made the list: Highland Avenue in Hickory.

And then we have Four Triangle restaurants made it onto Southern Living magazine’s list of “The South’s Best Cheap Eats under $10.”
Merritts Store and Grill in Chapel Hill, home of the triple-decker BLT for $9.95.
Saltbox Seafood Joint in Durham, home of the daily catch sandwich for $9.
Chuck’s in Raleigh, home of the “Little Dirty South (Carolina) Burger” and a Cheerwine for $9.25.
Garland in Raleigh, home of the chicken roti, an Indian-style wrap, for $7.50.
