Beaver Creek Shopping Center – Apex

Located at the intersection of Highways 64 and 55, Beaver Creek is the largest shopping center in Apex. It boasts a Super Target, Lowes Home Improvement, PetSmart, OfficeMax, AC Moore, and more. Beaver Creek is also home to Regal Cinemas 12 and many fine restaurants, such as Longhorn Steakhouse, Panera Bread, Red Robin, IHOP, Chili’s, and Firehouse Subs. Beaver Creek is easily accessible to residents of Cary, Apex, and Holly Springs, bringing a growing population of newcomers to the area.

Brier Creek Shopping Center – Raleigh

If you are looking for premier shopping in the Triangle area, Brier Creek Commons has one of the best selections of all. When you walk through the doors, you will find large and well-known stores intermingling with hip, specialty stores local to the Raleigh area. Brier Creek also offers a large selection of dining options, from sit-down and upscale dining to quick, on-the-go fast food for the busy bees of life. Brier Creek is truly a one-stop-shop for all gift, holiday, home decor, and shopping needs. It is located at the intersection of I-540 and Highway 70  – an easily accessible, fun place to be to shop.

Cameron Village – Raleigh

Cameron Village is one of the most popular shopping attractions in the Triangle area – hosting a number of unique shops and eateries that draw hundreds of thousands of patrons every year. Cameron Village is the best place to find local shops like Lightyear’s, Great Outdoor Provision Company, White House | Black Market, Bevello, Ann Taylor, The Art of Style, Chico’s, Jos. A Bank, and dozens more. Cameron Village also has a rich selection of fine eateries, including Cafe Carolina & Bakery, Cafe Caturra, Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, K&W Cafeteria, The Village Deli & Grill, The Fresh Market, and an ABC store. Cameron Village is located in Raleigh where Peace Street turns into Clark Avenue, near Oberlin Road. Cameron Village is a personal favorite for Raleigh natives and travelers.

Cary Towne Center – Cary

A traditional mall setting meets all of the latest and greatest stores in Cary Towne Center, a favorite hangout for all ages. Department stores such as JCPenney, Dillard’s, Macy’s and Sears have their home in Cary Towne, alongside stores for every taste: Charlotte Russe, Hollister, American Eagle, New York & Company, Hot Topic and more. The food court features delicious selections like Great Wraps, Chic-fil-A, Subway, Sbarro, and specialty places like the Cookie Store, Gloria Jean’s, and Cinnabon. Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are regular attendees at Cary Towne during the holidays, and in the interim, a kid’s bounce machine entertains participants and onlookers alike. Cary Towne is the one-stop shop for holiday, birthday, and gift shopping.

Crabtree Valley Mall – Raleigh

Crabtree Valley Mall boasts some of the best upscale shopping in the Triangle area. Patrons will find quality products, clothing, and fine dining in this truly astounding mall, complete with its own parking garage. The grand gated entrance on Glenwood Avenue offers just a glimpse into what can be found inside: Ann Taylor, Chico’s, Abercrombie & Fitch, aerie and American Eagle, the prestigious Apple Store (one of two locations in the Triangle, the other located in Southpoint), Art of Shaving, bevello, Brooks Brothers, Journey’s, and anchor shops as well. Fine dining locations include P.F. Chang’s, The Cheesecake Factory, Kanki Japanese Steakhouse, Panera, and many, many more. Crabtree Valley Mall is a place in which anyone could spend an entire day doing everything they want or need, and enjoy every minute.

Crossroads Plaza – Cary

Crossroads Plaza is by far the most popular shopping center in the Cary area, drawing in thousands of visitors who can finish all of their shopping needs in one place. Target attracts a wide audience as well as a Home Depot, Michael’s Arts & Crafts, Best Buy, ULTA Beauty Supply, DSW Shoes, Honeybaked Ham, Plato’s Closet, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Pier 1 Imports. Patrons can stop for lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurnts, including Jason’s Deli (a must for any visitor – at least once!), Coffee & Crepes, Subway, Coldstone Creamery, Starbucks, Noodles & Company, Taqueria del Sol and more. Crossroads 20 attracts moviegoers for the premier movies in luxurious stadium seating. Apartment complexes in close proximity to Crossroads make them prime real estate for access to one of the best shopping centers in the area.

Lochmere Pavilion – Cary

Lochmere Pavilion offers the biggest selection of local vendors in a charming location on Kildaire Farm Road. Located near the gorgeous Lochmere Lake, this small-town-feel pavilion is laid out around a piazza and fountain. It offers Java Jive, a worldly, wired caffeine hub that sells brew from around the world as well as local crafts and artwork. Bocci, featured in our Restaurants tab, is a lovely trattoria and pizzeria, a popular place for locals. In addition to these popular spots, Lochmere Pavilion is home to Swagger, a unique gifts shop, Anytime Wine,  J.F. Gemelli Salon, Land’s Florist, Triangle Pilates and Yoga Studio, Fitness Together, and B. Roman Day Spa. Whatever your desired stop, Lochmere Pavilion will not disappoint.

The Raleigh Flea Market – Raleigh

One of the most entertaining local favorites is a day trip to the Raleigh Flea Market. Vendors open their stations at 1205 Blue Ridge Road, the site of the NC State Fairgrounds, every weekend to attract shoppers in the area. CNN has ranked this flea market the 9th best in the United States, which certainly explains its popularity. The flea market has a truly vast selection, including over 600 vendors that sell antiques, jewelry and handcrafted items, food, artwork, furniture, and more. The flea market is open every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00AM to 6:00PM. Parking on the grounds is free.

Streets at Southpoint – Durham

For an exciting city within a city, the Streets at Southpoint is the way to go. It is easily accesible via I-40. Designed in a crescent shape, the Streets offer a wide range of popular stops and local finds. JCPenney, Nordstrom, Sears, Macy’s and Belk anchor the mall. There is also a movie theater, AMC Southpoint 17. Other points of interest include Ann Taylor, Gap, Banana Republic, Apple, Michael Kors, Barnes & Noble, Chico’s, Express, Crate & Barrel, Forever 21, Hollister, LOFT, and much more. The Streets at Southpoint also has a wide variety of restaurants, including Maggiano’s Little Italy, The Cheesecake Factory, and Panera Bread. The Streets at Southpoint are truly one-stop for all shopping fanatics and anyone looking to spend a fun day out.

North Hills – Raleigh

North Hills is perhaps the most elegant of all shopping in the greater north Raleigh area. It boasts hundreds of different stores (and a movie theater!) settled on millions of square feet, easily accessed via I-440 or Six Forks Road. North Hills is home to familiar anchors and a few new to our list, including Target and REI. Other interesting stops include Monkee’s of Raleigh, High Line Boutique, Vivace, Traditions by Ana Bridal Boutique, Whalebone Urban Surf, Pharaoh’s, Monograms, Inc., Trends n’ Traditions, and many more local gems. Dining includes Panera Bread, Bonefish Grill, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Starbucks, Midtown Grille, and Black Cat Cafe. For any savvy shopper who is looking for some new adventure, North Hills in Raleigh is the right choice.

Park West Plaza – Morrisville

Park West is one of the greatest up-and-coming centers in the Triangle area. The first and by far most popular store is Target, fully equipped with a grocery section, a Starbucks, pharmacy and concession area. Easy access off of the intersection of Chapel Hill Road and Cary Parkway gives access to other popular selections including Rack Room Shoes, Ross, Omega Sports, Gander Mountain, and more. Chili’s relocated from its Kildaire Farm location to this developing shopping center. There are local restaurants worth trying as well: Travinia Italian Kitchen, Another Broken Egg Cafe, Buffalo Wild Wings,  Ruckus Pizza Pasta & Spirits, and YoLo Dessert Cafe. Finishing its construction is a new cinema that will replace Park Place 14 on Chapel Hill Road.
